NearDesk Office Hubs

Office options for the forward thinking…

Work-hubs are a growing trend for open-plan, hot-desk offices with people from different companies working in the same building.

They mean that you can work in a professional, office environment wherever you are. So you can separate work and home and be around other people – without commuting to your main office every day.

Get out of the house as often as you like. Work with like minded people in your local work hub and only pay for what you need. Embrace flexible working with no monthly commitment and no more piles of receipts.

CONSULTANT FOR THE DOULA PROJECT

Bethel Health & Healing Network is in receipt of a three-year grant from Comic Relief, to cover the costs of a Doula service for vulnerable asylum-seeking women around the time of the birth of their baby.  One of the conditions of the grant-aid was that we would appoint a Consultant during Year 2, to help Bethel to produce a 3-year Business Plan, setting out a strategy for the sustainability of the Doula Project into the future, within the context of Bethel’s own future strategy. The strategy should have clear mechanisms for planning and developing the Doula project, that are needs based and supported by robust fundraising plans and within the context of Bethel’s own development; it should also have the facility to be updated as Bethel develops as an organisation.

Bethel Health & Healing Network is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.  We have in the past offered three main services, mainly through volunteer or part-time staff and receive funding from a variety of charitable trusts, individual donations and fees.  Services offered between 2006-2011have been:  a Counselling service; a community parish nursing service and the Doula support of vulnerable pregnant women, thoughat present, only the Doula Project is operating.  Details of Bethel’s work and vision can be seen on our website: www.bethelnetwork.org.uk  Bethel has been based in Sparkbrook, Birmingham but is seeking a permanent base.
